Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem, liquid templating language, and e-commerce best practices. You will be responsible for customizing themes, building custom functionality, optimizing site performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and backend developers.
Key Responsibilities:
 • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
 • Build custom Shopify apps or integrate third-party apps and APIs.
 • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and functional Shopify pages.
 • Optimize site speed, SEO, and overall performance.
 • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure seamless user experiences.
 • Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
 • Stay updated with Shopify platform changes and industry trends.
 • Participate in code reviews and support technical documentation.
Requirements:
 • 3–5+ years of experience with Shopify development.
 • Proficient in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript (Vanilla, ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (including SCSS).
 • Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app integration.
 • Experience with Shopify Plus and headless architecture is a plus.
 • Familiarity with version control (Git).
 • Good knowledge of e-commerce principles, UX/UI best practices.
 • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 • Excellent communication skills in English [or specify preferred language].
Nice to Have:
 • Experience with React, Next.js, or Node.js.
 • Shopify app development (public or private).
 • Experience working with agencies or multiple client projects.
 • Knowledge of other platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce is a plus.
