About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Magento Developer to join our remote team. This role requires strong technical expertise, fluent English communication, and the ability to work directly with international clients.
You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable Magento-based eCommerce platforms while leveraging modern tools—including AI-assisted development—to improve efficiency and code quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) websites
• Build custom modules, extensions, and third-party integrations
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements and propose technical solutions
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of Magento systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams
• Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and testing
• Stay up to date with Magento updates, patches, and industry trends
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in Magento development (Magento 2 required)
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Deep understanding of Magento architecture, APIs, and extension development
• Experience with third-party integrations (payment, shipping, ERP, CRM)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written) – able to communicate directly with clients
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento Enterprise)
• Knowledge of PWA, GraphQL, or headless commerce architectures
• Experience with AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Magento certifications
AI & Productivity Tools (Strong Plus)
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar
• Ability to effectively use AI tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, and workflow optimization
