🔧 Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Laravel PHP Developer to join a distributed engineering team working on a scalable web platform for a European client in the [eCommerce / SaaS / Fintech – customize depending on actual domain]. You will be responsible for developing robust backend APIs, optimizing performance, and collaborating with frontend and DevOps teams.
🧠 Responsibilities
 • Design and implement high-quality backend services using Laravel (v8/9/10)
 • Work with MySQL / PostgreSQL, Redis, and queue systems (e.g. Horizon, SQS)
 • Build and consume RESTful / GraphQL APIs
 • Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
 • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with European stakeholders
 • Write clean, scalable, and secure code following best practices
 • Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to deliver new features
✅ Requirements
 • 5+ years of experience with Laravel/PHP development
 • Strong experience with modern PHP (>=7.4) and Laravel ecosystem
 • Familiar with unit testing, SOLID principles, and design patterns
 • Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools
 • Good understanding of REST API, database optimization, queues
 • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English (intermediate+)
 • Experience working remotely with foreign clients is a plus
🎯 Nice to Have
 • Experience with Vue.js / React or frontend frameworks
 • Knowledge of AWS / DevOps practices
 • Familiar with TDD, DDD, or microservices architecture
🧪 Interview Process
 1. Technical Interview (30 mins) – with Vietnamese team lead
 2. Final Interview (60 mins) – with European CTO/PM (focus on system design & cultural fit)
